The research focuses on the importance of managing foreign reserves in the Iraqi economy for the period (2005-2019) and determining the optimal size for it through a set of main criteria by reaching decision makers to manage foreign reserves in accordance with international best practices. The research resulted in a set of coordination and recommendations, the most important of which is that the foreign reserves in Iraq exceeded international indicators and that the foreign reserves in Iraq are managed.
