This research addresses the role of Operations Research (OR) in project management and how to utilize it to improve planning, execution, and decision-making. In project management, OR is used to enhance planning and execution by applying mathematical and statistical models. It helps improve project scheduling by identifying key activities that may affect the overall project duration. It also contributes to increasing the efficiency of resource allocation, reducing waste, and boosting productivity. In addition, OR can be used to predict potential project risks, allowing managers to make proactive decisions and develop contingency plans. Despite its significant advantages, Operations Research faces practical challenges such as the difficulty of mathematically modeling many complex projects, the need for accurate data to obtain effective results, and the cost and time required to collect and analyze data. Nevertheless, the application of Operations Research can improve project efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the accuracy of performance forecasting, making it an important tool for project managers facing complex challenges. In conclusion, Operations Research enhances companies' ability to execute projects more effectively by improving planning and implementing procedures based on accurate data, mitigating potential risks, achieving successful outcomes, and increasing their competitiveness in the market. In the context of a factory producing electronic devices and aiming to increase profitability within existing constraints, it is necessary to determine the number of units to be produced at (30) units, which achieves a daily profit of $270. If we want to reduce the production time per unit, we can improve the efficiency of operations, reduce breakdowns, or use automation.
