Abstract

This research aims to identify the role of AI-based predictive analytics in rationalizing surplus and deficit decisions within the job cadre, through a field study applied to a sample of administrative and educational leaders working at the Science Education Department of the Salah al-Din Education Directorate. The descriptive-analytical approach was adopted; a questionnaire was distributed to 84 administrative and planning staff and analyzed using descriptive statistics. The study found a positive, statistically significant relationship between the use of AI predictive analytics and the rationalization of job-cadre surplus/deficit decisions, and concluded with a set of practical recommendations to support AI adoption in public-sector educational workforce planning.
